Where we shop, where we eat and have fun – all of it makes our community home. Our one-of-a-kind businesses are an integral part of the distinctive character of this place. Our tourism businesses also benefit.
Our goal is to create awareness for businesses, governments and residents to choose local Cobb County entities when making purchases. “Local” not only includes your “mom & pop” stores but also medium to large businesses.
Our single promise is to set the example by considering how choosing a local business would benefit our community. We use that knowledge to make an informed purchase or employee hire.
The Keep It In Cobb initiative seeks to improve quality of life in Cobb County by:
Supporting businesses in our local communities
Strengthening our county tax base
Reducing the need for property tax increases
